It's Beginning to Look A lot Like Christmas

Okay...Maybe I am jumping the gun here, but I'm starting to dream of a white Christmas. It's hard not to though when the retail world decides to push the holiday season in October. I was over on the Alice Lane blog earlier and how could I not long for evergreen garlands and peppermint when I saw this?

Everything is so naturally festive ~ a style I am ever so glad has taken root. (I an sure we all remember the plastic gold and silver garland and fuzzy Christmas ornaments. Not to mention the plastic Santa Claus place mats and cheap velvet scarlet ribbon...).

Hop on over to Pottery Barn and you get the exact same festive feelings:

I want fake snow on my Christmas tree, by the way. How adorable is that?? I want to shop that tree for sure.

I know Thanksgiving comes first (and believe me, I've never been more excited for Thanksgiving than I am this year!) but Christmas is right around the corner. Even the radio stations around here got the memo: 24/7 music playing already. Not sure I'm quite ready for THAT, but I'm getting there!
