Believe it or not, Christmas time is here! I'm not quite sure where the year went, but once again we're decking the halls and roasting chestnuts on open fires (which I was recently informed that west coasters think that is only a line in a Christmas song and not an actual thing people do! Hilarious, these things I learn!)
This past Friday we took a drive out to our favorite tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. We could have saved ourselves the time and picked one out at a local tree lot, but the people at Dancing Hill are so friendly that it's worth it to help support local business in Central Virginia. With their hot coco and southern accents, we don't even mind the fact that we end up buying a pre-cut each year! (All two Christmases we've been married... ;)
It's beautiful even in the winter months! (It could use a little snow though...)
We didn't waste a moment! As soon as we walked through the front door, we got that tree up and twinkling! Sap all over my hands is as fun as washing dishes, but it's worth it in the end!I wait all year long for this season! I'm so happy it's finally Christmas time - so get ready for an endless supply of Christmas cheer on here!
