We have a new addition to our little family! Meet little Miss Scarlett!
And yes... She's named after Scarlett O'Hara from the great classic movie Gone With the Wind. It was one of three favorite movies growing up! How could I resist? We actually picked the name out several days before even finding her ~ and were excitedly amused to realize that little white marking on the right side of her face: It resembles a scar, doesn't it?
She's 12+ weeks (and litter trained already, that wonderful little lady!) We were only planning on visiting the kitties at the humane society... But once we saw her little face, it was too hard to leave without adopting her!
Now let's hope she's not as dramatic as the fictitious southern belle, Scarlett O'Hara....
