I have been waiting for this week for three months now! Saturday afternoon the husband and I boarded a plane and headed home to Maine. It feels so amazing to be back! We have done nothing but relax and enjoy being together since we arrived. I am absolutely loving this! Not to mention, it is deliciously brisk up here. It actually feels like the holiday season. It feels normal!
{Two of my three siblings!}
{I'm a daddy's girl, what can I say?}
{Finally home again!}
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, of course, and we are in full preparation mode gearing up for tomorrow's big meal! (It's amazing how you spend the entire morning and afternoon cooking a meal that takes 20 minutes to devour, isn't it?) I swear I've cleaned the kitchen 20 times since I arrived Saturday night!
{Yeah... It would be awesome to create this meal by scratch. While most of it is, when you have 15 people on the guest list, entirely by scratch just seems as daunting as hiking Everest.}
{Let the pumpkin pie fest begin!!}
{That would be my adorable younger sister being her goofy self!}
{Mmmm...}
{Yes... Four pumpkin pies!}
{My handsome husband ~ hugging, not helping... *wink*}
I am so happy to be here! I am soaking up every minute with my wonderful family. This is most definitely a week to be thankful for!
