For three months I have been on the hunt for the right duvet cover. Most people would say that's insane, but I want to love everything I spend my money on. And I can wait to make my purchase worth it! One thing in life that drives me insane is the feeling of wishing I did something differently ~ and this applies to all things big and small.
This of course drove my husband crazy. He hated that I did my best to keep our bare down comforter off our faces in our sleep. He said it made his sleep uncomfortable, "I just want to be able to not have to worry about getting my own comforter dirty! Just order a duvet, babe."
So, up until yesterday, this was our bed:
Stark. I know. It was the coldest bedroom I've ever been in; just too much white! Not to mention the bare walls and nightstand substitutes...
Yesterday, Christmas came a little early! In the form of a lovely PB Matine Toilet Duvet Cover. Finally. I'm so excited to have some color in the room!

{A little up close detail - My husband feared it was a "floral" print, and was greatly relieved to find it to be more vintage than feminine.}
{I paired it up with quilted standard shams for added texture. A TJMaxx find: $12.99 each, by the way. A bit more affordable than those found on at PB!}
Now we need to find some kind of art work to hang over the bed. I wonder how long that will take... Any ideas??
