Long Time No Talk

Hello world. It's me, reporting from my living room... The hubby asleep beside me and our house guest (my uncle) across the room, sleeping as well. The breaking news before me is reporting that the world leaders have launched a military strike against Libya. I honestly don't know how I feel about this. All I do know is that I have a bad feeling about it.

I have been MIA this week. Too much has occurred in the world for me to blog about nothingness. I felt it too disrespectful to go on about interests and uneventful life in light of Japan and all that is going on throughout the nation and world. Not to mention I haven't had anything worth blogging about. Although it was a simple week, Strom and I had a sweet weekend together.

Every post is better with a picture, so here are a few from the land of the awakening earth...

 My crazy husband...
And his crazy love of being barefoot...

In closing, here are a few links from around the world that captured my attention throughout the week.

My heart goes out to the people of Japan. May God be ever present in their time of great need. And may we learn from them in how they persevere.

I was absolutely thrilled (and so proud!) to see my cousin (a pilot in the US Air Force) serving the people of Japan.

And a little lightheartedness (a must after such a trying week) ~ this precious new father finding out some amazing news.

And finally, I am completely in love with this gorgeous living and dining room makeover. I want those curtains. End of story.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
God Bless.
