The San Juans

Since the very start of our relationship, Strom always talked about his grandparents' cabin in the San Juans. I have heard countless stories (countless times) of crazy adventures he had with his cousins and how much fun staying there has always been ~ and how much he couldn't wait to go there with me someday.

Well, someday happened last week! I was finally a guest at the famous cabin making adventures of my own. Although most of our stay was blanketed with fog, it was still a beautiful stay on the island!

Right off the deck were endless sightings of seals and porpoises - something that never failed to amuse me!
Strom's cousin and his family joined us on the island! It was a blast to get to know them more! (Plus, little Conner is quite the cutie!)
Unfortunately, this is the only proof that I was even on the island... *sigh* Not the most impressive photo!
And this is what we awoke to the morning we were heading out. Actually, this was the improved view....
We all had a wonderful time! Even with the fog and rain. Isn't the coast all about fog horns and tug boats anyway? :)
