How could a year pass by so quickly? The morning of our anniversary, we could hardly believe we had been married for an entire year - no matter how many times I said it aloud! The day was filled with endless statements declaring what we were doing at that moment one year ago. Strom asked if this would be the practice for the next 50 years... I said we'll have to see! ;)
A Patriot cruise on the Miles River (which we highly recommend! What a blast!!), exploring the town, milkshakes downtown, a delicious dinner and a cozy campfire made the day absolutely precious. A perfect toast to a wonderful year together! :)
Osprey - AKA seahawks. Strom couldn't get enough - even went so far to declare them his favorite bird! Oh NFL... why must you be everywhere?

Confession: We didn't buy each other gifts or cards... Upon my sensation of guilt, we went into a card shop and each found each other a card and traded them... And then put them back! My card to Strom could not have been more perfect: Rain or shine, as long as you're mine. 'Rain or Shine' is engraved inside his wedding band. :)

And let me just say, the wedding cake was AMAZING a year later. I could eat an entire cake. Right now.
I can't say enough about our getaway! We had the sweetest time we could have asked for (if only we didn't have to bring our cat!) One year down, 60 to go! I can't thank the Lord enough for His amazing hand in our lives... Can't wait to see what He has in store for this next year!

Aww thank you, Cerissa!! (And Jen!) It would be so cool to take a trip somewhere someday together! Maybe we'll have some playmates for your boys by then to make it more fun for the kids! ;)
