Veteran's Day │ 11-11-11

Today we celebrate the greatness of our veterans. For generations we have seen men and women step up to the plate of courage and defend this nation from enemies foreign and domestic. Without an inside perspective, it's often hard to fully realize how much sacrifice that entails (nutshell? It's a lot).

But these are some of our finest citizens. Their strength and perseverance never fails to humble this Army wife's heart. Our military has in its ranks men and women who understand the value of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They have given of their time and so very often their lives so that we may pursue ours.

Let us honor our veterans today for they have honored us with their service.

And to my own handsome soldier, you are the pride of my heart and the love of my life!! Thank you for all you have done for me and for our country!
